چکیده
Background; Despite a large number of revolutionized advancements in Imaging technology clinicians are unable to get hundred percent accurate results. Multiple limitations have been observed modalities. published trials available online on the evaluations these imaging modalities individually and combinations find out level accuracy technologies. Objective; This study was design compare diagnostic MR Spectroscopy with MRI which is conventional tool for brain tumor diagnosis while keeping Histopathology evaluation as Gold Standard. Methodology; The patients who fulfilled inclusion criteria were included study. All scans carried GE 1.5 Tesla Scanner using head coil. Axial T1W, T2W, Fluid Attenuated Inversion Recovery (FLAIR), Sagittal Coronal Attenuation. (FLAIR) T1W post- contrast Axial, images acquired. spectroscopy performed through single voxel technique. Final made histopathology reports biopsy co related radiological MRS. Results; conducted 150 suspected cases. There 85(56.7%) males 65(43.3%) females. 100(66.7%) cases confirmed positive 50(33.3%) negative.

accuracy of magnetic resonance spectroscopy in distinction between radiation necrosis and recurrence of brain tumors.
background: distinction between radiation necrosis and recurrence of intraparenchymal tumors is necessary to select the appropriate treatment, but it is often difficult based on imaging features alone. we developed an algorithm for analyzing magnetic resonance spectroscopy (mrs) findings and studied its accuracy in differentiation between radiation necrosis and tumor recurrence. m e t hod s : ...
متن کاملSegmentation of Magnetic Resonance Brain Imaging Based on Graph Theory
Introduction: Segmentation of brain images especially from magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is an essential requirement in medical imaging since the tissues, edges, and boundaries between them are ambiguous and difficult to detect, due to the proximity of the brightness levels of the images. Material and Methods: In this paper, the graph-base...
متن کاملNeonatal Brain Magnetic Resonance Imaging Findings and Its Relationship with Demographic Characteristics of Neonates
Background and Objective: Neonatal neurological diseases are characterized by a range of clinical symptoms and signs that can be confirmed by Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) in some cases. This study aimed to examine the neonatal cerebral MRI descriptively. Materials and Methods: In this comparative cross-sectional study, 69 MRI neonatal images were analyzed from January to April 2019. These ...
متن کاملFactors Associated with Requesting Magnetic Resonance Imaging during the Management of Glomus Tumors
Background: The characteristic clinical presentation of glomus tumors and the low negative predictive value of themagnetic resonance imaging (MRI) raise the question whether MRI improves their management. Therefore, this studyaimed to investigate whether MRI improved the management of glomus tumors. Methods: In total, 87 patients with a histologically confirmed glomus tumor wer...
